Conception and realisation in the third dimension
In 1993 the designer, Johannes Herkels, and master craftsman, Simone Lang, founded Atelier XTRAKT in Darmstadt. Since then, they have designed and realised numerous projects together with a team of design experts, technicians and craftsmen. The modus operandi of the company combines together aspects of Design, Philosophy, Craft, Art and Innovation to achieve successful design projects. One of their strengths is to translate the request of the customer into artistic and technically professional action, to transport ideas into the third dimension and to stage significant fair scenes. The circle of their clientele extends from agencies, architectural offices and designers who outsource their concepts to Atelier XTRAKT to private customers and beyond. Their work is enhanced by changes in requirements of style for fair, exhibition, stage and decoration design.
